Stage 2: Biodegradation-"Approved" Reintegration into the ecological cycle through microorganisms, greater than 90%. Stage 3: Eco-Toxicology Assessment-"Approved" Ensure the absence of toxic waste and heavy metals. The results of this report comply with stage 1 of ASTMD6954, under the requirements of ASTM D3826 and ASTM D5208. Based on the ASTM D3826-18 standard, it is considered that the sample has reached its degradation when 75% or more of the samples recorded an elongation less than 5%, which has happened after 817 hours. The time of the degradation is 2 years and 3 months. California Legal Notice. California prohibits the sale of plastic packaging labeled with the terms "degradable," "biodegradable," or other language that my imply the packing will biodegrade or completely decompose in a landfill or other disposal environment. Steelflex Bioglow additive is shown to enhance biodegradability in a simulated soil environment, but has not been shown to decompose in landfill or other disposal conditions, or to break down 100%, and nothing on this website or marketing is intended to state or imply otherwise.
