BioGlow additive Very versatile film for most applications High puncture resistance Consistent load-holding force Excellent clarity Quiet unwind Steelflex Bio stretch film is manufactured with the additive BioGlow which is certified worldwide under the ASTM D6954 standard "Standard Guide for Exposing and Testing Plastics that Degrade in the Environment by a Combination of Oxidation and Biodegradation" of the American Society of Testing and Materials, a study carried out in the LABORATORY SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden with the certification number SC064610, which consists of the following tests to ensure that it is fully biodegradable: Stage 1: Degradation-"Approved" Loss of mechanical properties and molecular weight. Stage 2: Biodegradation-"Approved" Reintegration into the ecological cycle through microorganisms, greater than 90%. Stage 3: Eco-Toxicology Assessment-"Approved" Ensure the absence of toxic waste and heavy metals. The results of this report comply with stage 1 of ASTMD6954, under the requirements of ASTM D3826 and ASTM D5208. Based on the ASTM D3826-18 standard, it is considered that the sample has reached its degradation when 75% or more of the samples recorded an elongation less than 5%, which has happened after 817 hours.
